GuideProduct Overview
BidDesk AI helps subcontractors convert uploaded bid packages, selected Google Drive files, screenshots, PDFs, specs, spreadsheets, and pasted invite text into organized bid records with deadlines, scope, contacts, risks, drafts, and status.
GuideGetting Started
Create an account, choose a plan, confirm your organization workspace, then open Add Materials to upload files, choose selected Google Drive files, add screenshots or spreadsheets, or paste bid invite text.
GuideUploading Bid Packages
Use Add Materials -> Upload bid package to add PDFs, DOCX files, spreadsheets, CSV/TXT files, specs, addenda, copied email files, PNG/JPG/WebP screenshots, or selected files from Google Drive. iPhone HEIC/HEIF images are accepted when conversion is available. Add optional context in one note box, then BidDesk extracts the project title and opens an editable bid package.
GuideScreenshot Uploads
Screenshots work best when the email text, due date, contact, and project details are visible. Upload a screenshot of an email invite, planroom invite page, or bid details screen, then edit any AI-extracted field that needs correction.
GuideAI Document Workflow
After upload, BidDesk stores the files privately, extracts document text or screenshot text, identifies deadlines, scope, contacts, forms, risks, warnings, exclusions, and next actions, then opens the editable bid package.
GuidePricing And Billing
Plans are selected from Pricing and processed through Stripe Checkout. Stripe Customer Portal handles subscription management when configured.
GuideGoogle Sign-In
Google sign-in is authentication only. Google Drive import separately asks for selected-file access and only imports the files you choose.
GuideAI Features
AI Bid Intake, Risk Radar, Bid Fit Score, Ask BidDesk, Deadline Guard, Draft Email Assistant, and Estimator Briefing are designed for human control and editable outputs.
GuideSafety And Human Control
BidDesk does not send emails automatically. AI extraction and generated copy should be checked before your team relies on dates, requirements, risks, or decisions.
GuideTroubleshooting
If sign-in, checkout, upload, extraction, or dashboard loading fails, contact support with your email, company, browser, the page URL, and the exact error message.
